If you have owned a pair of German Para boots in the past then you will know how good these boots are. It is likely that you have purchased a used pair in the past, however you can now buy these new direct from Germany. These boots are made from a full grain waterproof leather with a tanned cowhide padded leather inner shell. The footbed and insole are anatomically formed, exchangeable, washable, and have a very good moisture absorption which dries quickly. The Non-woven insole absorbs sweat. The sole is a rugged rubber, which is extremely slip resistant, oil and gasoline resistant, anti-static and non-marking. Through specific points of the sole and heel, rounding is optimal giving good movement of the foot and has very good insulating properties against heat and cold. Built to the military specifications of the German Bundeswehr DIN EN 344/345.
Bones Verdict
NEW german paras? I never would have believed this was possible. Been wearing these in grade 1 for 20 years. Thats 20 years of abuse. The same pair. Almost bomb Proof. There is nothing better.
Needless to say theres a new pair of these behind my front door as well now :-)
THERE ARE NO ALTERNATIVE PRODUCTS LISTED BECAUSE......WELL.....WHY WOULD YOU? :-)

I owned a pair of German Army boots that preceded the model 2000 combat boots. They lasted me 10 years, and I couldn't imagine anything topping them.. until I bought a pair of these.Quality Price Value
Once you get past breaking them in (took me about 2-3 days with very heavy use), these boots are incredibly comfortable and well insulated- my feet and toes are never too hot or too cold. I can say with sincerity that these might be the best boots I've ever owned. My only gripe, I did have to put in my own insoles in as the ones provided weren't very good.
If you're intimidated by the price, don't be; the value you'll get out of these is incredible. I can't see myself replacing these for at least another ten years. (Posted on 07/03/2013) - Best boots ever!Review by WanderingSwede

Brilliant boots! Not the cheapest or most stylish, but brilliant! Have worn them - bought new - for about 2-3 hours at a time, 4 times, and once for about 5 hours. And only a slight rubbing on right heel, amazing! They are comfortable and water proof.Price Value Quality
